How to make Donut

  • Add flour, milk, sugar, and a pinch of salt to a large bowl. Knead until the dough is smooth, soft, and no longer sticky.
  • Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water. When the yeast becomes foamy, add melted butter and 1 egg, then mix well.
  • Combine the two mixtures and knead until the dough is smooth, elastic, and shiny. Cover with a warm cloth and let it rise for 1 hour in a draft-free place.

  • After resting, roll the dough out to a thickness of 1–1.2 cm. Cut into donut shapes using a cutter.

  • Let the shaped dough rest for 15–20 minutes until it doubles in size, then fry or bake until done.
