Ingredients for the cake
200g butter
220g cupcake flour
50g chocolate chips
1 pack of biscuits
200g sugar
3 eggs
50g unsweetened cocoa powder
Ingredients for the frosting
1 egg white
100g unsalted butter
50g white sugar
20g cocoa powder
How to make Chocolate Cupcake
1.Make the cupcake base:
- Melt the butter using a double boiler or microwave. Crack the eggs into a large bowl and whisk gently until well mixed.
- Sift the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and melted butter into the bowl.
- Use a hand mixer to beat until the batter is smooth.
- Lightly grease paper cups or small ceramic cups. Pour the batter in and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- * Note: Fill only 1/2 of the cup so the cake has room to rise.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C for 10 minutes, then bake for 20–30 minutes, depending on cup size.
- Check doneness with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, remove the cupcakes and let them cool completely.
* No oven? You can use an air fryer. Grease the molds and bake at 160°C for about 10 minutes until golden.

2. Make the frosting
- Combine egg white and sugar in a bowl. Heat over a double boiler until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm.
- Beat at medium speed until foamy and white, then increase to high speed until glossy and stiff peaks form.
- Lower to medium speed and add butter one spoon at a time. Beat on high for 30 seconds after all butter is added.
- Add cocoa powder and mix until smooth.
3. Decorate:
- Pipe the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes and chill in the fridge before serving.
