- Mix the milk, butter, and egg mixture.
First, place a saucepan on the stove with 500ml of whole milk and 45g of unsalted butter. Heat over low heat, stirring gently in one direction for 3-5 minutes. Once the butter melts and the mixture is simmering (around 70-80°C), turn off the heat.
Next, take a bowl and add 3 egg yolks, whisking them until well combined. Then, add all of the cooked whole milk, stirring continuously to ensure the mixture is well blended.
- Mix and let the dough mixture rise.
In another bowl, add 150g of cake flour and 200g of sugar, and stir well until the flour and sugar are thoroughly combined.
Next, gradually add the milk, butter, and egg mixture while continuously stirring with a whisk.
Next, add 1 sachet of vanilla powder and 10ml of rum essence, and continue stirring for about 2 minutes.
Finally, once all the ingredients are well mixed, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 12-48 hours.
Baking Cakes
Take a bowl and add the remaining 15g of unsalted butter and 10ml of dark corn syrup. Use a brush to mash and mix the mixture thoroughly.
Next, grease the mold with unsalted butter, preheat the oven to 230°C for about 5 minutes. Then, fill the mold about two-thirds full with the batter, place it in the oven, and bake at the same temperature for 10 minutes.
Next, lower the temperature to 190°C and continue baking for another 35-40 minutes. Once the cake is evenly cooked, turn off the oven, let it cool slightly, carefully remove it from the mold, and enjoy!
