Warm milk: 300 ml
A small amount of baking powder

How to make Croissant
Step 1: Prepare the butter
- Place the butter between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it flat to a size of about 20–25 cm.
- Chill the butter in the refrigerator for a few minutes.
Step 2: Make the dough
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, yeast, and warm milk in a large bowl. Knead until you get a smooth, elastic dough.
- Place the dough in a lightly floured bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1.5–2 hours until doubled in size.
Step 3: Laminate the dough
- Roll the dough out thinly, wrap the chilled butter inside, then roll it flat again.
- Wrap and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Repeat the rolling and chilling process 3 times, chilling 30 minutes each time.
Step 4: Shape the croissants
- Divide the dough into 2 equal parts.
- Roll each piece to about 0.5 cm thick, cut into rectangles, then into triangles.
- Roll each triangle into a crescent shape.
Step 5: Bake
- Preheat the oven to 300°C for 10–15 minutes.
- Place the croissants on a lined baking tray, brush with beaten egg mixed with water.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
